This is a barbaric and despicable practice that belongs in the previous millennium. Do not make us comparable to a country like Spain who still practices abhorrent animal abuse tactics. It’s shameful and pitiful that a government in the free world would even consider this. As Canadians, we pride ourselves in our unique wildlife, and we must treat them with respect because ultimately this is their land. So no, as a human being who values my country’s wildlife, I do not support this proposal.
I hope the public backlash doesn’t upset Doug and his despicable buddies too much but please note he has never and will never have my vote.
