We should not allow this cruel practice. Would you trade your place with any of these animals? Yet we know they feel pain just as we do. Why inflict pain and suffering where it is not needed? We should set an example and be humane. It may not be convenient but it is the right thing. We're a rich nation and we have the luxury of making the right choice. Let's make that right choice and ban this cruel practice.
