Natural gas still emits quite a lot of CO2. If the goals are to drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions in Ontario, it would be wise for the incentives go directly towards zero emission vehicles such as electric power and/or hydrogen power vehicles. There are commercial offerings for both (e.g., Nikola One, etc.),
Additionally, commercial use of electric vehicles and hydrogen power will improve the infrastructure for these products and therefore, it will be an easier transition (as well higher incentives) for the general public to use these products (e.g., Toyota Mirai, Tesla 3, etc.) for personal use.
