I disagree wholeheartedly with this proposal. As a lover of all creatures, I do not feel the use of dogs to hunt wildlife is appropriate, and the trapping of wildlife within these hunt areas is simply inhumane.
Nowhere in the proposal does it address the emotional and mental suffering of the wildlife involved. We cannot abuse one species at the whim of another.
Dogs have ample opportunity for exercise and training via other methods.
These areas should continue to be phased out, with licenses expiring if license holders are aged out.
Please consider the welfare of all creatures affected by this proposal.
