The act of caging innocent animals for the use of training hunting dogs is inhumane and cruel. Ontario should act to preserve and respect their wildlife, not treat it as disposable property. There is already stigma against wildlife such as coyotes and foxes, and allowing them to be caged for training purposes would cause further stigma by creating the implication that these are nuisance wildlife that should either have a specific use or be disposed of. I strongly urge that legislators do not vote on the passing of this proposal to ensure preservation, and reduce the stigma that surround wildlife.
