We have been a DCF Facility since the program's inception. We do not agree with canceling the program. The program has really done it's job as far as having fewer vehicle's drive around with engine codes and not maintained vehicle's. If the government is taking away the emission testing, what will they put in place to make sure that vehicle's are serviced and safe for the road on a daily basis? The average person most likely never had an issue with a test or repairs because the vehicle is maintained! By removing this program, all of the junk that has been taken off the road because it will not pass an emission test will return. The PEOPLE that complain are typically the ones that NEVER spend any money on their vehicle's!!!!

We have a question related to staff licensing. One of my inspector's as well as Repair Technician licenses both expire in December. Are you doing to "Grandfather" them in for the next 3 months? OR what is the government's plan for that? We are not paying for licensing that will only last 3 months. What has the government decided to do in these cases? Just let the technicians license lapse?? Is the government going to tell one of my employee's that they no longer have a job because part of their job description was doing drive clean's?? Has the government thought of the effect on small business owners?!

We have fully supported the program with having inspector's and a repair tech during this entire program, will any DCF's be reimbursed for any of the expenses of this program? We purchased this equipment and what will happen on April 1st, 2019 when the program is finished? Will the equipment be ours? Will it have to be returned?

As an automotive repair shop, yes the amount of headaches dealing with people who NEVER spend money on their vehicle's is frustrating but we were making head way on getting it into people's minds that they need to address issues when their vehicle's talk to them!
