This feels like a step in the wrong direction if we want to preserve and do good for Ontario’s ecosystem and environment. Hunting is a concern in and of itself, but now training dogs for hunting activities at the expense of captive animals is so unnecessary. This is a hobby which exploits the well-being of live animals and should not be encouraged. Licensing such activity does not make an activity acceptable—perhaps legally-speaking yes, but surely not morally or logically. Please consider wildlife and the environment and reconsider this proposal. Thank you.
