Trapping wild animals and keeping them captive for the sake of training dogs for sport hunting is inhumane and morally wrong. The proposal to reinstate train and trial centres, despite the fact that they were intended to be phased out in 1997 for these exact reasons, is morally regressive, repugnant and cruel.
