I applaud the revoking of the application for the Waste Transfer Site. Thank you for recognizing the bad track record of the proponents who had been charged, convicted and fined four times in the past for dealing in contaminated waste. You are preventing another crime against the environment from taking place.

This Waste Transfer Site is a pertinent piece of the puzzle to provide the proposed aerodrome in Georgina with the 1.2 million cubic metres of fill that the proponents want to dump, The revocation of approval for the application will help prevent the dumping of contaminated materials and may hopefully make construction of the aerodrome impractical.
