It is great that new parks are being considered or current ones being made into 4 season parks and will be including camping.
However it would also be nice to see some of the parks that were closed to campers refurbished and made operational again. With so many people wanting to camp and enjoy what our province has to offer reopening of these parks seems to be a good idea.
Also some of the facilities at current parks could use some upgrading. One of the areas in parks that need upgrading are the dump stations and the fresh water fill stations. There is often such a backlog at the dump stations that you can be waiting for sometime. One of tge major issues at dump stations is the terrible hoses, tgey leak and spray all over, the threaded piece for flushing tanks is usually totally gone. Most trailers these days have flush ports but require the threaded end on the hose. Having the hoses in good shape will cut down on dump time as people won't be flushing their tanks by needing to carry buckets in and out of their trailer.
Perhaps the larger parks would benefit by one or 2 more dump stations. Take a park like McGregor point that has multiple camping areas and yet only 1 dumping area. The line ups there can be huge.
