This is a land grab! I do not believe that we need to make more land available for development when there are thousands of hectares sitting waiting to be developed already. I also believe that the allocation of land for development should be left in the hands of LOCAL or MUNICIPAL councils. They know the needs of their respective areas best. Many of these developments will be isolated from other developed areas making a patchwork quilt requiring more infrastructure etc.
This is a bad idea. Scrap it.
