While we support the items listed on the proposal, we would also like to see added to the list the moving of topsoil from one licensed pit to another on the same property.
We currently have 2 licensed gravel pits that are joined and would find moving topsoil around from one pit to the other a more environmentally friendly and more cost effective.
Also regarding sequence of excavation: whether you strip areas starting with areas 1, 2, 3 and 4 as an example. Why can we not go with areas 1, 4, 3 and 2? Stripping the land out of sequence may be again, more environmentally friendly and cost effective. And just makes more sense. Sometimes things look good on paper, until you physically have to do it.
