Ontario needs the green belt. As the biodiversity crisis continues, building over the protected land is the worst thing we can do. Endangered species will perish, affecting the whole food chain and disrupting the balance of the delicate ecosystem that has been in place for many decades. I am ashamed the ontario government is even considering this as a possibility
