A shortage of land is not the cause of Ontario’s housing shortage, and therefore using provincial farmland to develop residential urban sprawl does not solve the housing shortage crisis. This is an unacceptable planning policy and you must come up with a better initiative that addresses the affordable housing crisis in a way that will not affect other known crises (environmental, affordable food).
