Good day,

My wife and I own a home and property that directly borders a Sarjeant aggregate pit. Like almost all people in the area we use a well and rely daily on the Oro Moraine water shed as our sole water source. Our well is located within less then a kilometre of the location of the proposed increase in water pumping. Shockingly little is known or understood about the watershed on which we and Sarjeant currently rely. Our environmental review process cannot simply be to just take more and more water until something breaks, because the consequences of something breaking are unacceptable. As a family who lives on well water and also returns that water to the earth through a septic system, we exercise extreme caution with how much water we take out and also what possible pollution we put back in. Because the Oro Morraine watershed is not well understood, we take as little risk as possible, and this is what we are asking this environmental review to do. Please do not put our most valuable environmental asset, water, at any level or risk without first studying it, and understanding our collective impact on it.
