As a resident, I am extremely concerned about this proposal. Our water source is a fragile commodity, one we shouldn't waste. This is already listed as a category 3, and consideration to expand the amount of water taking is both foolish and short-sighted. There is report after report available indicating the fragility of the aquifer and I cannot understand how this would be beneficial to the community. This quarry has operated outside the lines for a very long time and needs to be shut down completely.
