Hi,

I am a resident that lives quite close to this plant. I take my 6 year old child and my dog to the parks that are right next to it. The presence of this plant has always made me uncomfortable. Not only does it create a lot of noise that startles my pet and is an eye sore for any neighbourhood, but it greatly impacts the air quality in the neighbourhood.
When I moved from my previous dwelling to my current one, I was shocked at how much more dust is deposited on surfaces. Knowing all the different particles this plant is responsible for releasing into our air, it gives me anxiety and great reason for concern for my family’s health. I am absolutely opposed to this plant’s expansion. It is not a good idea to have a facility like this one in such close proximity to neighbourhoods with young families and parks where people of all ages come and play in an attempt to stay healthy.
