I very much disagree with the proposed changes.

You start by saying that "Good management of stormwater is an important part of ensuring Ontario has clean water for drinking, manufacturing products and recreational activities now and into the future."

None of your plan matches that. From what I read it allows privately owned companies to self-monitor. And you say the province keeps the authority to check on sites, but don't say that you will. How does removing monitoring improve safety?

I also have concerns about the integrity of the current provincial government's decision making processes, considering recent headlines around the Greenbelt decisions and RCMP investigation. Along with the questions arising around the Greenbelt there are also questions around zoning changes, the secrecy of highway 413, and the Ontario Place deal, I do not believe the leaders of this current government are making decisions to protect the people of Ontario, I believe they are making decisions to protect the businesses of their friends.
