- Our understanding of the proposed changes is that they will only impact the approval process of privately owned stormwater management works with the MECP and does not impact the approval process with the Tonw of Oakville.
- The Town of Oakville has two active agreements with the MECP pertaining to ECA, one for CLI ECA and another one for municipal/private ECA (Transfer of Review Agreement: TOR-OAK-E11-2018-26). How will the proposed changes impact the 2018 ECA agreement between the MECP and the Town of Oakville?
- Currently, the Town signs off on Section 7 of the ECA application for private works if required (e.g. industrial land use, new outlet to natural environment). Will municipal sign off still be required if the private work is eligible for self register on the EASR?
- What checks and balances will be implemented to ensure the works completed by a LEP is satisfactory
- Will documents and records created for the stormwater management works be accessible to the public?
