This is a terrible idea that will cause undue harm to the environment that future generations will have to deal with. Just because one person wanted to jam policy through that would allow for him and his buddies to make more money, while the rest of the province and cities within it suffer for it. If there’s even a shred of humanity in the people looking to pass this bill; do the right thing, make sure the environment is looked after. There’s a housing crisis to be sure, but blatantly ignoring the environment and pushing through bills to remove requirements that will ensure proper protections for anyone looking to buy a home is an abject failure to do the right thing. Be better.
