As a farmer I am against any changes to degrade the approval process in place for dumping waste into the environment. Are we not already dealing with contaminated soil due to poor monitoring by the government? Do we want asbestos dumped before the ministry or the public have reviewed or even been notified via an ERO about the activity? The government should focus on improving not downgrading the approval process as climate change and the loss of farmland is going to be making our lives and the lives of our children very difficult in the future. This is so wrong; I have no words to describe my anger with the government.
