Hello;

Do not agree at all with this amendment for the following reasons:

-#1 our health and safety, the environment and park users
-the last increase in 2019 has already made for unbearable days whereby we cannot be outside or open our windows to enjoy the fresh air, especially when winds are in our direction, odours even get trapped in our house
-drum mix means continuous mixing - allows more and ongoing production
-30% increase in production, 100,000 tonnes per year or perhaps even more (how will this cap be measured?), 300,000 tonnes per year is too much on us
-3 additional contaminants in addition to what is already released into our community: naphtholene, formeldahyde, nickel, more "particulate" matter, and other products of combustion (not detailed)
-these contaminants are known to be toxic and carcinogenic and are in the dust carried in our direction and in the air we breathe, need to look into the long term health effects of ingesting such toxins
-lots of dirty black dust on our outdoor items (cars, deck furniture, play structures)
-the noise is extremely irritating, unpleasant to be outside and can be heard in our home
-our home is close by and often downwind of contaminant odours, fumes, noise, and dust, cannot control the weather
-shocked that the ministry has allowed an increase in production thus far, so close by to residents
-expect more of the MOE in protecting the health and well-being of citizens
-we understand that industry is important but we need a balance and duty of care in consideration of the safety, health, and well-being of people living in our area
-this heavy industry is way too close to homes, lower levels of production were extremely bothersome, cannot imagine what it will be like to live here with such an increase in operations, it will be unbearable
-this situation needs serious review and reconsideration please
-this situation has already gotten out of control
Thank you
