While it is positive that the tanks are being upgraded and the whole system is being reviewed, I believe the review needs to extend to the pipes that feed from the campsites to the sewage tanks.

In past summers, some residents have noted that there has been a raw sewage smell in the campground. Apparently there are at least two areas where feeder pipes near the surface are cracked and need to be replaced.

The two locations were reported to MECP in the summer of 2021 -
1. That sewage pipe is located in an area where trailers are 10’ to 20’ from a neighbour's split rail fence on the campground side of the property.

The pipe itself is 10-15’ inside the campground property.

2. I will request that the owner/site manager assess those two areas (between 19 and 28 and between 34 and 47) and report back to me.

Apparently the smell is more pronounced after heavy usage on long weekends.
