This dump is located on a busy highway and surrounded by many homes. Even if they use other roads to avoid Dresden it sounds like it would create a lot more traffic. My husband and I bike on Croton Line and it is already busy with narrow shoulders and no bike lanes. I am concerned for our safety and others. I believe Toronto and other large cities need to handle their own garbage and not wear out our roads trucking it to small towns! I don’t think the truckers will like the farming equipment on the road especially during the summer tomato harvest! We live west of Dresden, usually where the wind comes from and am concerned about odour. Organic materials do smell! A 24/7 dump would be very noisy for neighbours!
