As a young business owner in Dresden, it is disappointing to hear and see a dump being brought to our small town only 1km outside of it. Not only is Dresden a heritage town with great history it is also a social hub of Chatham Kent providing Christmas Town and many groups and activities for all. The people of Dresden deserve better than this. They are good, down to earth small town people who will do anything to lend a helping hand.

To put a dump 1km outside of our town is horrible, I hope as a young person this doesn’t go through so I can protect mine and my customers livelihood. Dresden deserves better than this. This is my town, where I grew up and where I planned to stay.

So disappointing to see a big company show no care or empathy for a small town full of good people that does so much good for our community of Chatham - Kent.
