Chatham-Kent currently has a large landfill area and operation in Harwich Township. There is no need to create a new landfill site. Recycling processing can be set up at the current facility. There is no need to spread the operation over wetlands that would impact wildlife. York1 should work in conjunction with Waste Connections Canada at their existing facility.
