To whom it may concern,

I'm assuming my letter have will have little effect, as it seems the government has made up its mind to cancel cap-and-trade. I hope Premier Ford reconsiders. Again, I realize this is unlikely, so I urge the government to come up with alternative plans for Ontario to do its part to combat climate change. Climate change seems like too weak a term, however, as reports continue to point to an impending climate catastrophe. I know the government knows this, and I can't fathom how folks in power, who have children and grandchildren of their own, can avoid action on this file. My understanding is cap-and-trade is one of the best ways economically to mitigate the effects of climate change. So once again, I hope Ontario reverses its decision to eliminate cap-and-trade, and if not, to do more to protect our environment, especially for future generations. Thank you for your time.
