As a resident of ward 4 Chatham- Kent there is much concern in regards to York 1 interest in Dresden Ontario landfil projections. I Do NOT support this project as it will impact many residents in and around the area. There are many concerns that come to mind. A main concern is our very susceptible residential water wells. Our water wells have already been majorly affected by wind turbine infrastructure, some causing irreversible, serious damage resulting in complete destruction of the use of well water system(s) that have high potential to health risks to our ward 4 residents. Those who have not had major related concerns, undoubtedly have serious question regarding the state of vulnerabilty our systems are under. Adding waste products to a suceptible water system has high potential to create or exaggerate health risks associated from the state of our residential water wells.

Awareness of transportation vehicles and the route needed to take to bring in mass quantities of waste products is another concern. Transporting waste materials through a small towns main access point to all amentities would not only create havic on our roads as they are already over whelmed with our current traffic of tractors and large trucks, but increase the polution of noise and odour (waste and exhaust). It has a concern for saftey of the locals with increased traffic flow of large trucks and frustration related to delayed travel times.

The impact on the carbon foot print is also at large when traveling in great length from the GTA area to bring 6000 tons of waste down on a daily schedule. Locating a facility that is closer to the area creating the waste would make more logical sense in a hypothetical "climate change" environmental state of mind.
