I have 3 concerns with this proposal:
1. Have the noise levels from the site been considered, not only for the residents of Dresden but also for the adjacent protected wildlife area of Molly's Creek? Besides the heavy truck traffic, the noise of the equipment to handle this amount of product would have to be considered - 24/7 operation!
2. Has a study been done to see if our roads could handle this amount of heavy traffic? I would not like to see our road conditions deteriorate faster then they have to especially with our federal environmental minister saying funding for roads will be cut off.
3. The proposal states that construction waste from all over the province will be accepted. Since the most construction is happening in the Toronto area, would it not be more financially and environmentally sound to use a site closer to the city of Toronto?
