When this was initially proposed we were assured this would not impact our water table.
The impact to our village, our health, and the well-being of future generations, and the environment are at stake here.
Two councilors, elected by our community to advocate on our behalf were not allowed to cast vote in this situation due to them being residents of Maryhill, and therefore having a conflict of interest.
We have watched our community, our beautiful landscape get destroyed by gravel pits in neighboring towns, and the government has learned nothing from it.
The implementation of this project will have catastrophic fall-out.
Our water resources, something that is a basic, human, necessity, is already struggling to keep up with the consumption levels because of the newest sub division.
Allowing this to pass will surely be the demise of this village, and outlying homes.
