The proposal has insufficient information. It states that all wash water will be recycled. Where and how.
Their is no information as to the source of the water . If it is a well then it is hard to believe it will not affect the surrounding ground water and wells.
Up to 4 trucks per hour coming in with contaminated soil means up to 4 trucks per hour leaving making 8 truck movements per hour. Equals one truck every7.5 minutes. Dangerous on a poorly maintained road.
How do we know what contaminants are in the incoming soil and what is stored on site. Up to 36000 tonnes.
Why do we need to treat clean and non hazardous soils and why do we need to bring them to Muskoka surely a place in Vaughn could be found for them.
Will the proponent guarantee that the soil brought in is non hazardous and how will they inspect, test and prove this to the community.
Will the proponent be required to post a bond to remediate the site when thy leave.
