York 1 proposal for waste facility in Dresden is too close to town and waterways. It will have a negative impact on our waterways, species at risk, drinking water and air pollution. The dust and noise that will be produced by over 100 trucks a day through our small community of 2500 people is outrageous. Our infrastructure is not capable of this and no proposal has been received of the mitigation of this for our community. A recycling facility may be a great idea but not that this proposed location with Mollys Creek and the Sydenham River. Recycling for the environment should not require 100+ trucks a day travelling 3 hours to a landfill. Please reject this proposal.
