My family has lived in the rural area surrounding Dresden for over 100 years. They were and still are hard working farmers. To think of the changes that a landfill would bring, sickens me. The destruction of roads, air pollution, soil and water pollution is inevitable. This is a farming community where traffic consists of tractors and wagons, growing food that supplies the world, safe and quiet living. Why ruin and torture a pristine area that is being used to its potential? Move on York 1. Find land further north that will not affect the food chain, families, health and life of the people in Dresden.
