This location Winhara Road, is in very close proximity to residential houses that rely on wells for their water source. The possibility of contamination is far too great of a risk. The contamination by adding non viable soils to surrounding soils, lands, shrubs, trees etc., could also greatly impact the health of the existing ecosystem and all living things that inhabit this area. This road also has no sidewalks and was only recently repaired after being in horrible shape for years. Heavy trucks traveling up and down regularly will cause this road to become full of potholes and broken surfaces quickly. The safety factor of regular heavy truck movement is also a great risk to the many families and children who use the road for biking, walking etc. And as previously mentioned this road has no sidewalks to provide a safer space for pedestrians.
