I am completely speechless about this proposal. First of all, the people behind this proposal tried to sneak it through by not notifying any neighbors. What do they have to hide? An unmitigated disaster, that's what.
This proposal impacts numerous homes, waterway and creeks, which is home to deer, coyotes, foxes, fish, and countless varieties of birds, pollinators, turtles, and other key members of the local ecosystem. The truck traffic alone of over 100 heavy trucks coming and going will make this road unusable. The highway 118 exits and winhara cannot handle it. These are 50km/h residential streets with kids playing, elderly walking their dogs, and families on bikes. The traffic on a summer day or when the hughway has an accident is already bad enough.I demand that a full traffic assessment be done on this proposal. I also demand that the additional traffic will be assessed against the noise standards for residential communities.
I demand that a full assessment of the emissions be done in concert with the truck traffic emissions as well as the other emissions from the plant.
