This project needs to be stopped immediately. Chatham-Kent and Dawn-Euphemia are NOT willing hosts. This project is less than 1 km from a large population. There is a huge risk to the environment, the residents are at risk for silicosis and asbestos among other diseases. The school is 700 m from the properties YORK1 has purchased. People in Ontario and Canada are watching. This will set precedence for all small town communities. This was never a full blown landfill, it was for ash only and it should NOT be considered for reopening or expansion. This is NOT an existing landfill being expanded. It is a loophole that was found and now being exploited.
