I find this deeply unsettling and undemocratic. I do not want the Ontario government to reverse the Ontario Energy Board's decisions. Based on experts within and outside the industry, the economic consensus is that the OEB's decision actually makes energy more AFFORDABLE. I am beginning to get concerned about the affiliations between Minister Todd and Enbridge at this point. Not only that, I don't think it's fair that developers won't get the choice to choose between installing heat-pumps and natural gas heating infrastructure. Isn't the Ford government supposed to be about making lives more affordable and allowing for market participants to have more choices? This goes against the conservative governments' own morals to ensure efficiency through economic competition, fairness, and honesty.

Proposed Amendments to the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998 to provide the government with the authority to ensure fair and informed decision-making at the OEB to foster affordable communities.
