Our community is not welcoming this landfill, it is irresponsible to not conduct an environmental assessment. There are 83 species, many of which are endangered or protected, that live in the Sydenham River. This river is fed directly by Molly's Creek located on the property York1 is intending to destroy. Leaching, landfill gas, contaminated soil washing, and surface run off will destroy the integrity of this river.
