I believe that our planet…

I believe that our planet will no longer be able to sustain human and other life unless we immediately attend to the environmental crisis that we find ourselves in; witness Hurricane Michael, raging forest fires in BC, rising sea levels etc.. To deny the rapid & extreme changes to our climate due to climate change is worse than idiocy, it is self sabotage.

I strongly disagree with dismantling the Cap and Trade agreement. We need to take immediate and certain steps to reduce our carbon foot print or we shall perish. What kind of an idiot would say it increases taxes therefore we won't do it when our species and other species future is at stake.

The government is dismantling what little there was in place without a plan to reduce carbon emissions in place.

Please act immediately to ensure that Ontario meets its carbon emission targets. The Cap & Trade agreement was one tool of many. Please keep the Cap & Trade and implement other means to reduce our carbon footprint and meet our emission targets.

You have the responsibility to act and the means to do so. I expect nothing less of your government.
