Given the report released…

Given the report released last weekend by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which described the urgent need to cut our fossil fuel usage in 12 short years to avoid catastrophic climate change, I am very opposed to Bill 4, the cancelling of the Cap and Trade Act. Cap and Trade is a much needed measure to reduce provincial carbon emmisions. As an Ontario resident I strongly urge you to keep Cap and Trade, as there are no other measure that have been proposed to reduce these emissions. We are living in an important time to take action and insure a good future for the generations to come. Any government which is 'for the people' would want to ensure the long-term health and well-being of the environment on which we depend on to live.
