I completely support the creation of this new park and believe that the environmental concerns have been adequately considered by Ontario Parks. I'm confident and hopeful that the park service will carefully consider all of the impacts that the establishment of the park will have on the environment, while allowing all Ontarians to access the beautiful parts of our province. While there have been comments opposing the creation of this park, I don't believe that we should capitulate to 40 private landowners with lakefront properties who oppose giving the public access to public land, just so they can retain their high property values.

I do agree that motorboats would be a hazard and negatively impact the environment, and would hope that the proposal bans any motorized watercraft from any lake within the provincial park.
