I think it’s kinda ridiculous that when a town requests a full comprehensive environmental assessment, instead of fulfilling the towns wishes, we have to submit another round of comments to the ERO in order to get one approved, but when York1 wants to build a landfill not even 3km outside of our town, and bring in over 700 trucks a day of garbage, they think they don’t need a environmental assessment. It shocks me that that the government has kept their mouth quiet about this and seems to turn their heads the other way, something is way too fishy here. It is imperative that there must be an assessment done and listen to the towns concerns.
