I do not agree that this park should be developed as proposed. There are numerous other parks that offer proposed services and accommodations. The size of the park, in my view, is too small for such development. The park should be maintained as a low impact place to follow continuation of least disturbed area, low impact, for wildlife species and opportunities for solitude and very low impact activities.
We, as a species, too often alter the natural environment with good intentions and in fact make it to something close to city park greatly diminishing the wilderness we want to preserve. Ontario has already lost huge tracts of wild lands, such as marshes and old growth forests so why di we need to diminish even more of our wilderness, especially in the area that has been impacted by human hardscape and needs to preserve the tensing wild areas for future generations.
