The Sydenham and species at risk are too big of a reason to allow this to happen. It is home of some of the cleanest water in Ontario and clean fresh water is in need and will be a valuable resource always.
The species at risk, some of them are only found in the Sydenham. To have the potential to eliminate them cannot be reversed. Who knows if they may be needed in the future to keep the water clean, help fight diseases, ect.
