In addition to the attached report which provides commentary on behalf of the Town of Lincoln, I want to reiterate the concerns with respect to voluntary pre-consultations. This is a critical element of the development application process whereby we can ensure Town staff, agencies and the applicant are clear on the requirements of a subsequent application. This ensures the ensuing processing occurs in the most efficient way possible, eliminating misunderstandings.
As such, the Town strongly urges reconsideration of this aspect of Bill 185 in particular.
