This is a terrible geological area for storing and spreading raw sewage, and if the MOE had done a proper environmental assessment, they would have realized it.

There are five main fault lines running from Lake Temiskaming, north. One of them goes through the neighborhood of where the Quebec applicant placed the storage lagoon, on Hilliardton Road.
This fault line is the extension of the Niagara Escarpment that crops up in Temiskaming, right on this road.
There are huge volumes of flowing water wells on this road, Dairy Lane, which proves how much clean drinking water is flowing in the aquafers underground here. The MOE can easily prove this by looking closely at their own Ground Water Well Site. The applicant's consulting company he hired should have known this. I searched the local wells myself, and could see many of the flowing wells here run upwards of 60,000 gallons per day and more.
Instead of giving permission to the applicant to store sewage here, risking the aquafer, the MOE staff should have never allowed it here.

In the future, good clean drinking water will be Ontario's most precious asset and this fault line, is a huge source of clean water.
