I am a resident of Woodbridge (Rutherford and Weston neighbourhood) since 2001. As per Ontario Environment registration, MZO's are to be used for urgent decisions. the four 32+ storey apartment buildings being pushed through for development at Langstaff and Hwy. 400 are a disaster in the making.
With no planning, transportation studies or public input, this seems very sketchy and underhanded. Our mayor, Steven Del Duca, has not heard any objections from individual residents because no one was made aware of this development. We are suffocating in traffic and pollution and overpopulation in our neighbourhood. This has got to stop.
We cannot move about our area to support our local businesses without getting stuck in traffic and buses are often running off schedule because of this. My son has either been late for work or had to arrive extra early because of this issue and this not what we expected when we moved into our beautiful neighbourhood.
