25 year wildlife rehabber and advocate. Traps are not needed in modern times and cause a tremendous amount of suffering. All too often the intended target is not caught. I’ve seen rare raptors even caught in these horrific devices. With wildlife in serious decline, trapping should be a thing of the past. Horrific images can be seen now of coyotes and foxes been terrorized by men while still suffering in the trap. We need to be better than this, coexist, deter properly or heavy fines. Trapping anything lethally has to stop. End the cruel ignorance please. We need to be aware of our consequences now more than ever and learn and teach that there are kinder ways to protect your property.
