This is an extremely bad idea. Quite simply the area of Highway 400 & Langstaff Rd cannot accommodate a project of this size. First & foremost given that the area is a mix of commercial & residential properties construction will only create chaos. Secondly, a 32+ storey building has no place in this part of Woodbridge-Vaughan. By all means build on the southern end along Highway 7 or in the Colossus plaza but not in this section. There are many seniors that live in the area - construction will surely affect there lives. The use of an MZO is completely undemocratic & quite frankly confirms my suspicions about Mayor DelDuca - he doesn't really know his constituents & is only serving his own agenda. There's too many condominium projects already slated for the area. Why not approach businesses in the Jane St & Millway Ave area - if the idea is to be closer to transit then build around the VMC NOT IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA where the majority of residents drive! We have enough high-rise buildings going up we DO NOT need this one. Why not move this south to the Brick Plaza in front of Home Depot. These types of projects should be kept to the south of Woodbridge closer to Highway 7.
