Can you please make available the "peer reviewed research" that supports relaxing the current cable restraining specifications. The reasons you have given "pelt damage" does not justify reducing the cable diameter. Despite having said that, I strongly believe that using snares to restrain and kill wildlife is a primitive method that is inhumane and should be prohibited in Ontario and Canada. It is a crude method of trapping and causing injuries to animals that poachers use in Africa. I hope we will ban the use of snares altogether. Thank you.
